Big news has emerged for fans of the Power Rangers franchise. A reboot is reportedly in the works at Disney+, and the creative team that's set to become a part of the project may be exciting for fans.
Per TheWrap, a live-action Power Rangers reboot series is in development at Disney+. Percy Jackson and the Olympians showrunners Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz are reportedly in talks to write and serve as showrunners for the reboot; they will also executive produce if the deals go through. Hasbo is also said to be producing the series, which is described as a reinvention of the franchise "for a whole new generation of fans while delighting those who already know and love the world of Power Rangers."
Steinberg co-created Percy Jackson and the Olympians with original author Rick Riordan. That Disney+ show has been a huge success, and it was just recently renewed...
