Daredevil: Born Again’s Newest Villain: Who is Muse, and What Does He Mean for Wilson Fisk’s Anti-Vigilante Agenda?

Daredevil: Born Again brought back Frank Castle in its latest episode, but the show has also brought one character into the MCU who has never had a live-action presence before. Introduced in 2016, Muse is an antagonist who has chiefly troubled two heroes: Daredevil, and his student Blindspot. The character has also had run-ins with the Punisher and might be key to the agenda that Wilson Fisk entered office with.

Wilson Fisk entered his mayoral tenure in New York City with the agenda that vigilante violence and vigilante justice are something that needs to be curbed by any means necessary, the character, indirectly, singled out The Punisher, Daredevil, and Spider-Man during his campaign. Muse actually ends up helping Mayor Fisk with his shenanigans, which the former leverages to push his anti-vigilante agenda.
