
‘Coco 2’ In Works, Disney CEO Bob Iger Reveals

Disney CEO Bob Iger just revealed during the studio’s annual shareholder meeting that Coco 2 is happening. A 2029 release has been set.
“While the film is just in the initial stages, we know it will be full of humor, heart and adventure,” said Iger. “And we can’t wait to share more soon.”
The sequel reteams the team behind the original film, including Oscar-winning director Lee Unkrich and co-director Adrian Molina (Coco). Oscar-winning producer Mark Nielsen will produce.
