
Split Fiction | Film adaptation of Hazelight Studios’ new video game in the works

Just two weeks after Hazelight Studios released its latest critically acclaimed videogame, Split Fiction, a film adaptation has been announced, as reported by Variety. Apparently the positive reaction to the game has started quite a bidding war for the rights to make a film version, and media company Story Kitchen (which is also behind the planned adaptations of Vampire Survivors and Sleeping Dogs) is currently getting a script together and finding a director and cast.
Split Fiction, which requires a friend to play with, follows Zoe and Mio, two writers who were promised publishing deals. Once they arrive at the publishing house, they’re asked to step onto platforms where a machine will transport them into an immersive experience of their stories. Hmm, that’s not suspicious at all…...
