Waves Anime & Manga Contest (Wam!) Returns With Its Mumbai Edition On March 23
After a wait of almost four months, the Waves Anime & Manga Contest (Wam!) is returning with its new chapter in Mumbai.
The Media & Entertainment Association of India (Meai), in collaboration with the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, is bringing Wam! to Mumbai on March 23, 2025.
The contest will be hosted at Whistling Woods International and is anticipated to draw over 200 participants. You can still register by heading over to the official website of Wam!
This event marks the next stop in Wam!’s nationwide tour, following successful gatherings in Guwahati, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, and Delhi. The previous instalment of the competition came in Nov 30, 2024 at Varanasi.
Competitors will showcase their talents in categories including Manga (Japanese-style comics), Webtoon (digital comics), and Anime (Japanese-style animation).
