Ferrari Release Statement After Both F1 Drivers Lewis Hamilton & Charles Leclerc Were Disqualified From Chinese Grand Prix
Scuderia Ferrari Hp have had quite the roller coaster of a weekend at the 2025 Formula 1 Heineken Chinese Grand Prix!
On Saturday (March 22), Lewis Hamilton won his first race with the team, taking home the first place trophy for the Sprint Race.
The next day, however, after post race inspections following the main race, both Ferrari drivers, Lewis and Charles Leclerc, were disqualified for two different reasons, causing them to lose their finishing positions and the points they earned. Charles finished fifth and Lewis finished in sixth.

Lewis was Dq’d after “the rearmost skid was found to be below the minimum 9mm thickness required,” per Formula1.com.
For Charles, his car was found to be underweight, coming in just one kg under the minimum 800kg requirement per Article 4.1 of the Technical Regulations.
