Pedro Pascal was nothing short of flustered by a question about his upcoming role in Marvel’s “Fantastic Four” on Monday night, but not because he needed to dodge spoilers while answering. This one was more of an, uh, anatomy question.

Sitting down with Pascal ahead of Season 2 of “The Last of Us,” Jimmy Kimmel took the opportunity to also ask about “The Fantastic Four,” noting that in the first trailer for the film, we don’t actually see Reed Richards, a.k.a. Mr. Fantastic, use his powers to stretch.

So, with a second trailer potentially on the horizon — Kimmel noted he heard it might come on 4/4 — the host wanted to know if we might see Pascal stretch onscreen sooner than later.

“I don’t know,” Pascal deflected. “You see all the saliva like evaporating in my throat? Now I’m nervous.”
