Rediscovered footage shows the Sussexes at a royal engagement at the premiere of The Lion King in London in July 2019, with Harry pleading with the film’s director to offer Meghan voiceover work.
Prince Harry added his little quip, “Just not Scar,” who was the evil uncle in the film who tried to steal the kingdom from Simba.
In another clip, Harry was seen asking Disney CEO Bob Iger whether he knew that Meghan had done voiceovers. It was a major embarrassment to the royal family.
Iger responded uncomfortably, “Uh. I did not know that.” Harry kept pushing the proposition no one asked for, “She’s really interested,” he exclaimed. “That’s really why we’re here; it’s the pitch!
