Gerard Butler started the year right, and it's still going well for him. On Jan. 10, his film Den of Thieves 2: Pantera was among the first movies released this year, and its success continues.
The new action film serves as a sequel to the 2018 film Den of Thieves. Butler reprises his role alongside O'Shea Jackson Jr., with Christian Gudegast returning to write and direct. Following the film's recent release on Netflix, Den of Thieves 2: Pantera has become a hit on the platform, Tudum reports.
Den of Thieves 2: Pantera ended its theatrical run on Feb. 20, and it was released on Netflix on Mar. 20, only a month after. It didn't take long for the heist action movie to make an impression because the movie premiered in third spot globally for the week between Mar. 17 and 23.
What's even more impressive is that Den of Thieves 2: Pantera was only released in the U.
