Anthologies are becoming more and more popular nowadays, and, following the resounding success of HBO's The White Lotus, Hulu will follow suit. Similar to The White Lotus, Nine Perfect Strangers was originally supposed to be a standalone series but will soon return for Season 2.

The series marked Nicole Kidman's second adaptation by Australian author Liane Moriarty. The then-limited series, which she also produced through her production company, Blossom Films, was her follow-up after the success of Big Little Lies on HBO, which will also return for Season 3. Per Deadline, Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2 has a spring premiere window. The new eight-episode installment will also switch from the fictional town of Cabrillo, California, to the Austrian Alps.
