On his new album, Based on a True Story, Will Smith is defiant about his infamous Chris Rock Oscars slap, addressing the incident on multiple songs.

The opening track on the project, “Int. Barbershop – Day,” is a skit with a chorus of voices sharing rumors and differing opinions of the actor and rapper, including “Will Smith is canceled” and “I ain’t never gonna forgive him for that shit he did.”

Later on, one voice says, “I heard he won the Oscar, but he had to give it back.” Another chimes in, “And you know they only made him do that shit because he’s Black.”

The song also references Smith’s response at the Oscars to Rock’s joke about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith: “Him and Jada both crazy girl, what you talking about?/ You better keep his wife’s name out of your mouth.”
