Amber Ruffin Breaks Silence After Being Dropped as 2025 White House Correspondents Dinner Host: 'I Would Have Been So Terrifically Mean'
Amber Ruffin is openly criticizing the White House Correspondents Association’s recent decision to cancel her hosting duties at the 2025 Whca Dinner.
The 46-year-old comedian addressed the situation while appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Monday (March 31).
“If there’s one thing I learned from this weekend, it’s, you have to be fair to both sides. When bad people do bad things, you have to treat them fairly and respectfully. When you watch The Sound of Music, you have to root for the singing children and the other people. Calling them [Nazis] is so one-sided,” she joked to Seth.
