Pierce Brosnan Expresses Interest in Third 'Mamma Mia' Movie: 'Why Not?'
Pierce Brosnan is on board for another installment of the Mamma Mia franchise.
The 71-year-old actor, who played Sam Carmichael in the 2008 hit movie musical and its 2018 sequel Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again, recently revealed that he supports the idea of making a third film in the series.
“I think everyone is ready for Mamma Mia 3. Let’s see what happens. It would be wonderful to do it. Yeah, why not? We’ve come this far,” he told Et in a new interview.

The comment comes a month after Amanda Seyfried, who played the lead character Sophie in the films, also said that she’d be open to revisiting the Mamma Mia universe.
