Cad Bane and Asajj Ventress are back in Tales of the Underworld
May the 4th has come early for Star Wars fans because Lucasfilm Animation has revealed its next entry into the Star Wars: Tales anthology series, bringing back two fan favorites.
Tales of the Underworld will put bounty hunters Cad Bane and Asajj Ventress in the spotlight. The trailer and new poster from StarWars.com gave us quite a bang on this Tuesday, teasing several new characters. The series will return on May 4, 2025 to Disney+.

StarWars.com specifically notes this season will be a look "at how Ventress and Bane are surviving in the shadow of the Empire." This puts the shorts well before the events of The Bad Batch and The Book of Boba Fett. However, the trailer hints we might see some interesting stories like Cad Bane's origin story...
