Live-action adaptations of anime and manga have always been a tricky endeavor. While some do not quite live up to their original counterparts, others far surpass expectations offering a fresh yet faithful take on the original story and Let Me Eat Your Pancreas is one of them.

Let Me Eat Your Pancreas (2017), by director Shô Tsukikawa, is one such adaptation that managed to deliver an emotional gut-punch, despite being overshadowed by its more widely recognized 2018 anime adaptation, I Want to Eat Your Pancreas.
