Jason Statham's 'A Working Man' Takes #1 Spot at the Box Office
Action movie icon Jason Statham continues to fly the flag for crowd-pleasing, no-nonsense action thriller fare with this month’s A Working Man, which has now delivered a knockout blow at the box office. Leaving the latest Disney live-action remake, Snow White, in the dust, A Working Man knocks The House of Mouse movie into second place, earning $15.2 million in its opening weekend.
Directed by The Beekeeper’s David Ayer, and with a script from Statham’s Expendables co-star Sylvester Stallone, A Working Man also stars David Harbour (Stranger Things), Michael Peña (End of Watch), Jason Flemyng, Arianna Rivas (The Black Phone 2), Noemi Gonzalez (Selena: The Series), and Emmett J.
