Director X Signs With Paradigm (Exclusive)
Canadian music video director and filmmaker Julien Christian Lutz, a.k.a. Director X, has signed with Paradigm Talent Agency for representation.
Known for his high-concept, visually-distinctive style, Director X has helmed more than a hundred iconic music videos, collaborating with chart-topping artists including Drake, Rihanna, Rosalía, Kendrick Lamar (“King Kunta”) and Justin Bieber (“Boyfriend”). He won a Juno and a BET Award for his work and has been nominated for numerous other prizes, including a Grammy nod for Future and Drake’s “Life Is Good” music video.
In television, he directed episodes of Nat Geo’s “Genius: MLK/ X,” featuring Aaron Pierre as Malcolm X and Kelvin Harrison Jr. as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., as well as Amazon’s blockbuster action series “Cross,” starring Aldis Hodge.
