Season 2 of AppleTV+’s psychological thriller series Surface is about to come to its end, and the second-to-last presentation of the year, episode 7, raises the stakes for the protagonist as she comes close to finding out the truth about her past. In the previous episode, Sophie Ellis’ estranged biological father, Henry Huntley, had told her that her mother, Emma Antoine-Day, had passed when her car had caught fire following a road accident. However, the fact that Eliza Huntley had seen the car abandoned in the private forest behind the estate meant that Henry was not telling the truth. In Surface season 2 episode 7, Sophie inches closer to learning the whole truth, while James Ellis also finds himself in immense trouble after having been kidnapped at the end of the previous episode.
