‘Last Samurai,’ ‘Cocktail’ Producer Ted Field Boards Indie Drama ‘To Love a Narcissist’ (Exclusive)

Veteran producer Ted Field, whose credits include “Cocktail,” “The Last Samurai,” “Jumanji,” and Amazon’s “Wheel of Time,” has signed on as executive producer for the indie psychological drama “To Love a Narcissist” from director Raffaello Degruttola.
The relationship drama from Contro Vento Films stars Lyndsey Marshal, Degruttola himself, Stephen Campbell Moore and Sule Rimi. Sadie Frost joined the project as an executive producer last year. Bill Bossert and Lyndsey Marshal also serve as executive producers on the film.
“Trust is weaponized in ‘To Love a Narcissist,'” according to the film’s synopsis. “Charlotte and Roberto are in love. The film portrays the delicate interplay orchestrated by the secret narcissist. Layers of manipulation and aching vulnerability are exposed until the fragility of trust is swallowed by the enduring impact of betrayal.”
