Today's a Great Day for Stephen King Fans

2025 will also be a year of Stephen King adaptations. The Monkey was the first release this year.
The adaptation came from Neon, with Osgood Perkins at the helm. The Monkey premiered in theaters on Feb 21, based on King's short story of the same name, but instead of a serious adaptation, Perkins decided to turn it into a black comedy. Following a successful box office run, Neon confirmed The Monkey is now officially available on digital. The studio also revealed the 4K Ultra HD/Blu-Ray Combo, Blu-Ray, and DVD release dates will be June 24th.
The Monkey's official logline reads, "When twin brothers find a mysterious wind-up monkey, a series of outrageous deaths tear their family apart. Twenty-five years later, the monkey begins a new killing spree, forcing the estranged brothers to confront the cursed toy."
