The days of waiting are now over, as My Hero Academia: Vigilantes has finally been released this week. With its first episode being such a breath of fresh air, the series is already getting plenty of warm responses.
But what really caught my attention, and I think is a huge part of its success, is how it clearly sets aside the differences between villains and heroes. We all know how the original My Hero Academia series became a bit of a mess in its later seasons for questioning the heroes’ worth. They aren’t the beacons of justice anymore.
