The Angry Birds Movie 3 Sets Release Date (But It's Not Soon)

The Angry Birds franchise started as a game series, and its popularity led to two films, a television series, merchandize, themed parks, and more. The first movie, The Angry Birds Movie, came out in 2016, followed by a sequel in 2019.
In 2024, it was announced that a third film was in development. Now, Paramount Pictures officially confirmed the movie is happening, and set a worldwide release date for The Angry Birds Movie 3 on January 29, 2027. This will be the longest break in between installments, with almost a decade after the sequel.
The original film starred Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Danny McBride, Maya Rudolph, Kate McKinnon, Sean Penn, Tony Hale, Keegan-Michael Key, Bill Hader, and Peter Dinklage.
