The Handmaid's Tale is one of the most critically acclaimed series currently on air, and it's set to end with the recently debuted Season 6. The series premiered in 2017 as dystopian fiction, but its themes became more and more contemporaneous as more seasons came in.
Led by Elizabeth Moss, The Handmaid's Tale is set in a post-apocalyptic United States now called Gilead, where fertility rates have collapsed.
