Everyone loves Tom Cruise’s running sequences. The actor has a particular style that has now become iconic and is a staple in most of his movies, especially the Mission: Impossible franchise. While the action franchise has seen him do death-defying stunts, the one truly impossible mission that he pulled off was not even in the films.
Cruise’s film Vanilla Sky features a particular scene where his character enters a deserted Times Square in New York and runs along the popular tourist destination. The film crew reportedly got permission to shut down the whole of Times Square for the sequence, a feat that has not been achieved since.
