Lazarus Episode 2 Review: Dr. Skinner Might Be the New Thanos

Spoiler Alert !!!This article contains spoilers for Lazarus Episode 2.
The second episode of Lazarus was already a lot better than the first. Not only did I make the wise decision to stick to the Japanese dub, but I also came to terms with the fact that perfection is but a rare occurrence. For Shinichiro Watanabe’s works, one doesn’t need to achieve perfection to make something good. With the absolute disappointment the first episode caused, I had little to no hope going into this one.
Right as the second episode began, I noticed the change in the way the anime was flowing. The dialogue didn’t feel out of place and unnatural, and the animation also felt so much better. Although Axel has the tendency to take up most of the screen, it has more to do with his presence than how much screen time he gets.
