Beetlejuice became a cult classic following its 1988 release, and, although there were initial plans for a sequel, nothing materialized until 2024. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice was a resounding success, and the franchise might continue.

Although director Tim Burton, who helmed both entries, was reluctant to confirm Beetlejuice 3, it looks like the dark comedy might bring back Michael Keaton as the Ghost with the Most. Following the release of 2024's Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, the creative team raved over working together again and how easy it was to go back to the role.
