Sony’s Affirm Films Dates ‘Soul On Fire’ Starring William H. Macy, John Corbett & Joel Courtney
Exclusive: Sony’s Affirm Films has dated Soul on Fire, its new film inspired by the life of inspirational speaker John O’Leary, for release in theaters nationwide October 10.
The drama will serve as counterprogramming to Amazon MGM’s #MeToo thriller After the Hunt, Disney’s Tron: Ares, and The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender, all of which are scheduled to open the same weekend.
William H. Macy (Fargo), John Corbett (My Big Fat Greek Wedding), and Joel Courtney (Jesus Revolution) star in the film, directed by Sean McNamara (Reagan), which adapts O’Leary’s 2016 bestseller of the same name.
