AppleTV+’s new surrealist comedy-drama series, Government Cheese, continues expanding on its plot in episodes 3 and 4, which have also been released in the premiere week, together with the first two episodes. We were earlier introduced to Hampton Chambers, who struggled to meet his family’s expectations and even to provide for them physically and emotionally after having been released from prison after serving a three-year-long sentence. Still hopeful that his new invention, an almost miraculous self-sharpening power drill, can help him make a fortune, Hampton properly teams up with Manny Brinks in Government Cheese episodes 3 and 4, while he also has to be wary of the big sum of money that he owes to the dangerous Prevost Brothers.
