My Hero Academia fans have nothing to complain about. While they wait for the eighth and final season of the hit anime series, they can enjoy the brand-new spin-off series My Hero Academia: Vigilantes. The story takes place before the events of the flagship series and, while fans already expected some familiar faces to pop up, the debut episode brought a cameo that no one saw coming – Deku is present in the spin-off, but not in the way you think.

Also known as Izoku Midoriya, the protagonist of My Hero Academia was not expected to be a part of Vigilantes because, in this new time, he is too young and powerless to integrate with a group of superheroes.
