The 'Bosch' Spin-Off Will Be With Us Sooner Than We Think
Bosch: Legacy may be ending, but the world of Harry Bosch is far from shutting down. As confirmed by series lead Titus Welliver, the upcoming spin-off Ballard—led by Maggie Q—is already on the way, with plans to arrive sometime in 2025. Viewers will be introduced to Maggie Q’s character, Renee Ballard, in the final episode of Bosch: Legacy Season 3. While the spin-off will dive deep into her cold case unit and a whole new supporting cast, her dynamic with Bosch will be central to the plot of the show, as Welliver told The Direct.
“Well, we introduce Renee Ballard in the 10th and final episode… That’s where she and Harry cross paths,” Welliver said. “He becomes kind of a mentor and has an almost paternal relationship with her. We don’t really have the time to establish that [in one episode], but we see them kind of at a point of impact.
