Netflix's latest series Ransom Canyon merges two popular genres — the Western and the romance — in this modern-day drama based on a series of novels by bestselling author Jodi Thomas. Josh Duhamel stars in the 10-episode first season as Staten Kirkland, a Texas rancher fighting a war on multiple fronts. As he battles outside forces for control of his family's land, his heart is at odds with his head over Quinn O'Grady (Minka Kelly), a classically trained pianist and lavender farmer who also runs the local dance hall. That Quinn was his late wife's best friend only complicates things that much more. Meanwhile — because this isn’t enough...
