“We Need a Strong Female Star Wars Universe”: ’Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Young Leia Actress Has a Solid Pitch for a Star Wars Spin-Off
The feeling of implicitly trusting an actor with a role is so satisfying and to see that happen in an actress so young instills the feelings of "the kids are alright." When it comes to the world of Star Wars, 12-year-old Vivien Lyra Blair seems to have a great grasp on one of the most recognizable characters of the franchise: Princess Leia Organa. Blair played a young version of the character first played by the late Carrie Fisher, in the Ewan McGregor-led series Obi-Wan Kenobi. Recently, Blair talked with Collider's Maggie Lovitt about her Heroes & Villains collection and Blair had a full pitch ready to go when asked about seeing more of Leia as she grows up, which she may have pulled from the plot of the book Leia, Princess of Alderaan by Claudia Gray, but if that's the case, we're just glad she's done her homework.
