“He Knows How To Push You”: Wyatt Russell Has Strong Praise for Steven Spielberg [Exclusive]
Wyatt Russell’s career has recently taken off largely thanks to his role as John Walker in the MCU, but he’s attached to star in another upcoming project that could change his life. Russell is one of the many big names who have been set for a role in Steven Spielberg’s currently untitled event film, which will be released on June 12, 2026. Very little is known about the film at this time other than that Spielberg will direct and co-write the script with David Koepp, and other names to star include Emily Blunt, Colman Domingo, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, and Eve Hewson. During a recent interview with Collider’s Steve Weintraub to promote his upcoming film, Broke, Russell was asked about what it was like working with Spielberg, and he didn’t hesitate to sing his praises:
"Working with Steven Spielberg is what everybody says it is. It's a dream.
