Star Wars Unveils First Look at The Mandalorian and Grogu (& Sigourney Weaver as a Rebel Pilot)
Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025 kicked off with a bang, revealing exclusive footage and behind-the-scenes photos during itsThe Mandalorian & Grogu panel, the first panel of the event.
Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, and Dave Filoni took the stage to give fans a sneak peek at The Mandalorian & Grogu. Audience members also got a first look at Zeb Orrelios, who was confirmed to appear in the movie in December 2024 following his live-action debut in The Mandalorian Season 3. Favreau told fans that The Mandalorian & Grogu utilizes massive sets, including a Walker, and confirmed that the film will be in IMAX. An official release date has also been revealed for the film: May 22, 2026.
