One Piece Episode 1126 Review: Kizaru’s Character Development Is Nothing but Unnecessary Padding
Image
The Egghead Island marked the beginning of the final saga in One Piece, but it didn’t felt like that to me until the release of episode 1126. The latest installment in the second phase of Egghead, One Piece episode 1126 brought in two heavy hitters in the first half itself who have been lost in the story for quite some time now. The first one is Bartholomew Kuma, and the second one is Fleet Admiral Sakazuki, also known as Akainu.

Their brief but epic clash in Mariejois was the highlight of the entire episode for me, because of the symbolic interpretations hidden behind it. Not only that, I am also happy that the episode focused on the internal conflicts of Admiral Kizaru, who is currently being crushed between his duty as a Marine and his friendship with Dr. Vegapunk. However, this internal conflict has caused a big issue for the pacing of the episode.
