Noah Wyle Recalls His Fun Friends Cameo Alongside ER Co-Star George Clooney (& Why Watching It Now Is 'Crazy')
Friends and ER debuted in the same year, 1994, and during Friends' first season there was a crossover of sorts. In a special two-parter episode, Wyle and his ER co-star George Clooney played a pair of doctors who take Rachel and Monica out.
That episode was "The One with Two Parts, Part 2" and Wyle still remembers it well. "I knew a lot of [the Friends cast] before our shows broke," Wyle told Entertainment Weekly's The Awardist podcast, via Entertainment Weekly. "I was friends with Matthew [Perry], I was friends with Jennifer [Aniston]. I knew a lot of people that knew David [Schwimmer] and Lisa [Kudrow].” He and Aniston knew each other through an ex-girlfriend of Wyle's.
