Elder Scrolls 4 and Fallout 3 Remasters Are Pointless Without Switch 2 Port
During the FTC v. Microsoft case in 2023, some documents came into the spotlight which revealed that Microsoft’s subsidiary, ZeniMax Media, which is the parent company of studios like Bethesda Game Studios and id Software, was working on remasters of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Fallout 3, and a new entry in the Doom franchise.
As for the Oblivion Remaster, it has been confirmed by Bethesda, but this game, as well as Fallout 3, is pointless if the studio doesn’t create a Nintendo Switch 2 port. With portable gaming gaining so much traction, it’s about time these major developers tap into this market, because it has a lot of potential.
