Prolific Lost showrunner Carlton Cuse is taking a journey into the Star Wars galaxy, with son Nick Cuse at his side. The duo is in early development on a Star Wars series for Lucasflim, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter.

Carlton Cuse’s lengthy credits include Bates Motel, The Strain, Jack Ryan and Netflix’s recently released medical drama Pulse. Nick Cuse worked with his father’s Lost co-showrunner Damon Lindelof on Watchmen and The Leftovers, with his credits also including Station Eleven and Masters of the Air.

Details on the Star Wars project are being kept under wraps.

The news comes on the eve of Andor season two’s debut and follows Star Wars Celebration in Tokyo, where Lucasfilm unveiled a first look at feature The Mandalorian & Grogu and revealed a title for Shawn Levy’s Ryan Gosling movie, Star Wars: Starfighter.
