'The Chosen' Attains Heavenly Box Office Heights Ahead of Easter Sunday
It was all building towards this weekend, and if things work out (as they mostly have), the folks over at Sony will be heaving a sigh of relief because they're planning something similar with their ambitious four-part Beatles series, due out in 2028. Beginning three weeks ago, Fathom Entertainment debuted three separate installments of the faith-based television series The Chosen's fifth season in theaters. Titled The Chosen: Last Supper, the "trilogy" has since grossed a combined total of over $40 million, pushing the franchise past massive global box office milestones.
