Ayo Edebiri and Will Sharpe to Lead Rom-Com Series ‘Prodigies’ for Apple TV+

Will Sharpe and Ayo Edebiri are set to unite in the new rom-com series “Prodigies” for Apple TV+.
Sharpe, who made a major splash with “The White Lotus” and was recently seen taking Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin on a tour of Poland in “A Real Pain,” created the seven-episode comedy and will write and direct. Sister, the BAFTA-winning production company behind “Black Doves,” is producing. Edebiri, who has won a Golden Globe, two SAG Awards and an Emmy for her performance on “The Bear,” will also serve as an exec producer alongside Sharpe.
Described in the synopsis as an “unusual take” on a classic romantic comedy, “Prodigies” is set to explore the universal complexities of long-term relationships through the lens of a very unique couple.
