Manny Jacinto’s Star Wars Celebration Panel Will Disappoint Acolyte Fans
Last year, The Acolytebecame a lightning rod of controversy for reasons beyond its actual quality. Just as soon as the Star Wars spin-off series' first and only season ended, Disney unceremoniously canceled it. Worse, the studio seemingly tried to bury it and act as if it never existed. They only backed down when the public backlash was too loud to ignore. Because of this, fans hoped that The Acolyte would get some good news or at least be mentioned in Star Wars Celebration 2025.
Fans only got half of what they hoped for when Manny Jacinto — the actor behind Qimir and The Stranger — showed up on Star Wars Celebration 2025 Day 2. Unfortunately, the actor didn't say anything about The Acolyte's future, nor did he talk about any of the controversies that overshadowed it. Worse, The Acolyte was barely mentioned or even acknowleged throughout the saga's three-day celebration.
