It looks like there’s still hope for Star Wars fans who want to see Mace Windu back in action. Director and actress Bryce Dallas Howard recently shared that she talked to Lucasfilm about bringing Samuel L. Jackson’s character back into the galaxy far, far away.

While speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast with Josh Horowitz, Howard was asked which actors she’d love to direct one day. After mentioning her Jurassic World co-star Chris Pratt, she brought up Samuel L. Jackson, saying: “Sam Jackson has been incredibly supportive of me and has told me many times that he would act in something that I directed, which is, like, I’m not worthy, basically.”
