Godzilla has had a heck of a couple of years tearing up the big screen with Godzilla Minus One and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. However, The King of the Monsters has spent the first half of 2025 battling the Marvel universe in a series of comic one-shots. The famous kaiju has taken on Thor, The Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, and The Avengers. Now he's ready to set fire to the entire continuity as we know it in Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe this summer.

The five-issue event series is being written by Gerry Dugan with art by Javier Garrión. The plot for the book is as follows:
