Psycho-Pass is one of the few anime that makes the fans question the social constructs, life, technology, and get the sense of realization that everyone is susceptible to committing crimes.
From the beginning, Psycho-Pass was set to be different from the rest of the anime. It was supposed to shock, then provoke the fans to think about things they wouldn’t usually, influencing them to be open to newer ideas and tropes rather than just binge-watching the usual Shonen anime.
The idea of a world in which criminals can be apprehended before they even commit a crime is intriguing in a way that makes philosophy and morality within the viewer clash, introspect, and wonder about such applications of technology in the future.
