Netflix has officially released the first batch of images for The Old Guard 2, which is coming to the platform on July 2. The new images from the film show returning star Charlize Theron alongside Chiwetel Ejiofor and other members of the cast, such as Henry Golding, Uma Thurman, and Matthias Schoenaerts. Both films in the franchise are based on the popular graphic novel series by Greg Rucka, who also wrote the screenplay for the first movie, which Gina Prince-Bythewood directed. Sarah L. Walker has been tapped to write the script for the sequel, with Victoria Mahoney directing.
