'Kick-Ass' Celebrates 15th Anniversary With Special 4K Release
For the fifteenth anniversary of the diabolic take on the superhero subgenre by the 2010 film Kick-Ass, the film will get a special 4K Steelbook release by Lionsgate Movies. Available in 4K Ultra HD and Digital, Kick-Ass will feature exclusive Steelbook artwork by Tracie Ching and new special features, making this a must-own for fans of the Aaron Taylor -Johnson-led action-comedy film. Kick-Ass will be available only on Lionsgate Limited on May 13, 2025, for a suggested retail price of $43.99.
This release features three special featurettes: Pure Cinematic Fun, Still Kicking Ass, and The Work of Art. The release has all the bells and whistles of modern film technology, including High Dynamic Range (Hdr) video courtesy of Dolby Vision and immersive audio courtesy of Dolby Atmos.
