Not too long ago, Captain America: Brave New World managed to save face by passing the $400 million mark at the worldwide box office and the $200 million mark domestically. Imagine how bad it would've looked for a massive Marvel movie to stall under these two milestones. Sometimes, optics matter. Especially in the case of fellow Disney under-performer Snow White. It wouldn't turn into a hit by passing the $200 million mark worldwide, but at least it wouldn't be as big of a bomb as it is now. The movie is languishing right at the edge of the $200 million mark, and because it's basically at the end of its rope, passing the milestone is hardly guaranteed.

Snow White has virtually no chance of hitting the very basic $100 million mark domestically; its current haul stands at around $85 million. The movie has grossed another $109 million from overseas markets, for a combined global haul of $194 million.
