"Stand Your Ground”, is a new ‘revenge thriller’, directed by Fansu Njie, starring Daniel Stisen, Peter Stormare, Eric Roberts, Adam Basil, Patrick Regis, Akie Kotabe, Roxi Kravitz, Isobel Laidler, and Michael Billington, releasing May 9, 2025 in theaters:
“…’Jack’, a former US ‘Special Forces’ operative returns home with his pregnant wife, only to face tragedy when a racist attack, spearheaded by local crime lord ‘Bastion’ leads to her death.
“Jack kills one of the assailants in rage, just outside their home imprisoned for six years. Upon release, he discovers the culprits were the sons of Bastion. Seeking vengeance, Jack targets Bastion’s eldest son, ‘Leon’, who masterminded the attack.
“Using the ‘Stand Your Ground’ law, Jack lures Leon into a trap. Bastion retaliates, sending assassins, but Jack, fortified in his home, fights them off…”
