The seasoned writer, showrunner, and executive producer recently executive-produced Max's hit series The Pitt. He has set his next project, a drama series based on Jhumpa Lahiri's collection of short stories. Unaccustomed Earth has been ordered to series at the global streaming platform Netflix with Wells as executive producer alongside writer/executive producer Madhuri Shekar (3 Body Problem).
