'Greyhound' Sequel With Tom Hanks Officially in the Works at Apple

Nearly five years since the film's release, Apple TV's World War II action epic Greyhoundis getting a sequel, and Tom Hanks is in line to return as Captain Krause. The film, which boasts a Certified Fresh 78% rating on Rotten Tomatoes from critics, was originally set to hit theaters through Son Pictures. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it was delayed and then sold to Apple TV+, which is now developing a sequel with the main crew returning for another WWI battle.
According to Deadline, Tom Hanks is set to start shooting the sequel to Greyhound in January 2026 in Sydney, Australia. The follow-up was announced in 2022, but it's taken several years for it to get off the ground.
